Rat-a-Tat Cat is a fun, quick-play card game where players try to end up with the lowest score by swapping cards, using strategic memory, and outsmarting their opponents. At the start, each player receives four face-down cards — two they secretly peek at, and two unknown.
On each turn, players draw cards (or take from the discard pile), then either swap with one of their face-down cards or discard, aiming to ditch high-value “rat” cards and keep low-value “cat” cards. Special action cards (Peek, Swap, Draw Two) add surprises, bluffing, and replayability.
When a player believes their total is lowest they call “Rat-a-Tat Cat,” triggering final reveal and scoring. With 2–6 players, typical playtime ~15–20 minutes, and suitable for ages 6+, this game blends memory, strategy and light luck — perfect for kids, families, or casual game nights.
